1. Cancellation Overview

At Manjit Health Care, we understand that schedules change. We offer a flexible cancellation policy that allows patients to cancel their appointments with adequate notice. This policy ensures fair treatment for both our patients and our healthcare professionals.

2. Cancellation Notice Period

48+ Hours Notice

Full refund eligible + no cancellation fee

24-48 Hours Notice

Partial refund eligible + 25% cancellation fee

Less Than 24 Hours

No refund + full cancellation fee applies

3. How to Cancel an Appointment

You can cancel your appointment through any of the following methods:

4. Cancellation Confirmation

Once your cancellation request is received:

  • We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request
  • You will receive a confirmation email with cancellation details
  • Your cancellation reference number will be provided
  • Refund (if applicable) will be processed within 7-10 business days

5. No-Show Policy

Important: No-Show Definition

A "no-show" occurs when you:

  • Do not cancel your appointment in advance
  • Do not attend your scheduled appointment
  • Do not contact us to reschedule

Consequences: Full payment forfeited, no refund eligible, appointment slot lost to other patients

7. Rescheduling Option

Instead of cancelling, you can reschedule your appointment:

  • Reschedule with at least 48 hours notice - no fee
  • Reschedule with 24-48 hours notice - 10% rescheduling fee
  • Reschedule within 24 hours - 20% rescheduling fee
  • Change can be made up to 3 times per appointment
  • New appointment must be within 3 months

8. Doctor-Initiated Cancellations

In rare cases, the doctor may cancel an appointment:

  • Medical emergency or urgent clinic closure
  • Doctor unavailability due to medical reasons
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, extreme weather)
  • In such cases, full refund is provided immediately
  • We will contact you within 24 hours
  • Priority rescheduling offered at no additional cost

9. Special Circumstances

Cancellations due to certain circumstances may be eligible for exceptions:

  • Medical emergency (requires documentation)
  • Family emergency requiring immediate attention
  • Public transportation strike or closure
  • Severe weather making travel impossible
  • Doctor-recommended postponement
